Jennifer Aniston reportedly wanted to have children with her estranged husband Justin Theroux.

The 49-year-old actress – who split from Justin at the end of last year and announced the news last week – has never had children, and it has now been reported that when she got engaged to the ‘Leftovers’ star in 2012 she was hoping he would be the man she would start a family with.

A source told People magazine: “When Jen met Justin, she had almost given up on the idea that she would have kids. They wanted to have a baby, but it didn’t work out. “She has been sad that it never happened, but it never consumed her.”

The ‘Friends’ actress and the 46-year-old actor announced last week they would be getting a divorce following two-and-a-half-years of marriage – a decision which they revealed was made at the end of last year.

In a joint statement, they said: “In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.

“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

Previously, it was confirmed Jennifer was “doing okay” following the release of the statement.

A source said: “Jen is doing OK. She has her group of friends that are her family, and they have rallied around her. It’s always sad and heartbreaking to have to move on, but she has a lot of love in her life. She will take this and learn from it and have new perspective going forward.”

Jennifer Lawrence wants to date Timothée Chalamet.

The 27-year-old actress thinks the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ star is “hot”, but, at 22, he’s currently a little bit too young for her.

She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Timothée, I’m waiting for him to get a little bit older, you know?

“[I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter, and then I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30.

“He’s old enough to say that, right? He’s over 18? What if I was like, ‘He’s hot!’ and he’s 15?’

“I didn’t realise he was so young. Tell him to wait!… [He’s] so, so talented and hot!”

The ‘Red Sparrow’ actress may be in luck because the ‘Lady Bird’ actor recently admitted he was a big fan of hers but felt nervous in her presence.

Speaking at the Golden Globe awards last month, Timothée said:

“If I saw Jennifer Lawrence — I already met her, so I don’t know why I would still be geeking out — I would totally be as starstruck as if it was the first time.”

The ‘Hunger Games’ actress – who previously dated the likes of Coldplay’s Chris Martin, 40, and her ‘Mother!’ director Darren Aronofsky, 49 – recently claimed she is currently in “single mode” but predicted she’ll soon be feeling lonely without a partner.

She said: “I am in the single mode where I am like, ‘Cool, I can do whatever I want and I can be alone and watch terrible TV.’ And then, of course, in a few months I will be devastatingly lonely and feel like I’m on some long waiting list. But I am not there yet.”

The couple announced their shock separation on Thursday after just two-and-a-half years of marriage.

Now Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux will have to figure out how to split their assets and move on with their lives.

However, it seems one very blingy asset that won’t be part of the calculation is the stunning eight-carat, emerald-cut diamond engagement ring that Justin gave her, said to be worth $500,000.

Better times: Jennifer Aniston didn’t appear to be wearing her blingy diamond engagement ring when she and husband Justin Theroux posed for an event in Paris in April last year

The stars likely drew up pre-nups before they wed in on August 5, 2015, at her Los Angeles mansion.

But that won’t cover the ring that the 49-year-old’s beau, 46, gave her on August 10, 2012, L.A.-based attorney and certified family law specialist David Glass told People on Tuesday.

‘The engagement ring pre-dates the marriage, and therefore is Jennifer’s separate property regardless of whether it is mentioned in the prenuptial agreement,’ he said.

The Friends star will not have to give back the eight-carat, emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, said to be worth $500,000, according to legal expert David Glass

‘As long as the parties get married, then the recipient keeps the engagement ring.’

As for the rest of their assets, the Friend star is believed to have kept her $21 million L.A. mansion in her name.

Justin, who co-stars in HBO’s The Leftovers, owns an apartment in New York City which he bought for $600,00 in the early 2000s and spent $1 million renovating in 2015.

Meanwhile, Jennifer’s total worth is estimated by Forbes at $200 million, far more than Justin’s.

‘It’s likely that they had a prenuptial agreement that preserved the separate property value of any pre-existing, premarital assets and the increase in value of those assets,’ David Glass said.

When it comes to the rest of their joint property, Glass told People the only items up for division would be things like joint bank accounts and any property they bought together.

Their last big event together was in July.

He broke his social media silence in order to praise partner Cheryl’s charity work amid growing concern for their future as a couple.

But Liam Payne was without the Fight for This Love singer as he made an appearance at the Gagosian Gallery in London on Tuesday evening.

The 24-year old was instead joined by DJ and clothing designer Virgil Abloh, whose collaboration with Takashi Murakami was on display at the Davies Street venue as London Fashion Week drew to a close.

Sporting a casual T-shirt beneath a Balenciaga jacket, Liam looked typically relaxed as he posed for photos shortly after making his way inside.

Ripped skinny jeans added to the low-key look, while Nike high-top trainers and a series of distinctive gold neck chains rounded things off.

Earlier that day the One Direction star expressed his pride for his girlfriend on Instagram after she launched Cheryl’s Trust Centre, in aid of disadvantaged youngsters, in her native Newcastle on Tuesday.

He deemed her an inspiration and questioned ‘how she finds the time’ for philanthropy, after it was claimed she mostly stays at home to care for their son Bear while Liam works away – driving the pair apart.

Cheryl, 34, shared a snap of herself posing in the new welfare centre, which led Liam to gush of his support in the comments.

He wrote beneath the beaming snap: ‘Very proud of you! how you find the time to do this I’ll never know.

‘Over many years you’ve put all this together and put your heart into such a great cause! I hope one day I can do the same.’

Speaking out: Liam has broken his social media silence to praise Cheryl’s charity work, amid swirling rumours the pair are set to split

‘You put your heart into such a great cause’: Liam sent his support, in his first post on social media since split rumours emerged

Her close pal Kimberley Walsh also commented on the photo, adding: ‘This is amazing so proud of you’, followed by a love heart emoji.

The comment saw Liam break his social media silence, amid swirling rumours he and Cheryl have parted ways.

The new parents are reportedly struggling to find quality time together as they juggle their busy careers and care for their 11-month-old son, Bear, a source told MailOnline.

The insider claimed their relationship is ‘strained’, as the former One Direction star is spending nights away from home and touring the world with his solo album, while she looks after their baby son.

Cheryl is thought to be spending much of her time at home on her own with Bear, because she would rather stay in watching TV than go out to showbiz parties.

The source said: ‘Cheryl basically went into hibernation when she got pregnant and has made the decision to be a stay at home mother with no nanny and is looking after bear herself. She doesn’t like going out much as she used to.’

While another friend close to the couple added: ‘The fact of the matter is, like most young couple’s with busy work lives and the demands of an infant they have been struggling to spend time together.

‘There are the very real strains of trying to adapt to parenthood whilst being in the spotlight and having to appear as though everything is rosy all of the time.

Happier times: The pair have been together since late 2015, and welcomed their first child in March last year

‘It is not real life and is not the life Cheryl and Liam are currently living as a couple.’

It was also reported by The Sun that Liam – who is set to perform at the inaugural Global Awards next month – has spoken to lawyers to see what a split would mean for their shared assets and the care of their son – with Liam holding an estimated £54million fortune, and Cheryl around £20million.

However, the Fight For This Love hitmaker was quick to hit back at the split rumours as she launched Cheryl’s Trust Centre on Tuesday – the achievement Liam was praising on Instagram.

Following days of speculation, BBC presenter Dan Walker touched upon her love life life at the launch, but a slightly frosty Cheryl appeared keen to deflect discussion away from her relationship.

She said: ‘(Talk of my personal life) is not frustrating. It doesn’t bother me at all as my focus is solely on this and I’ve waited seven years and none of that matters – this is most important to me.’

Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston May Not Even Have Been Legally Married

Justin Theroux quietly moved into Jennifer’s Aniston’s guest house as their marriage fell apart.

According to a new report, The Leftovers star, who maintains his own New York apartment, had always felt more comfortable in the separate smaller guest quarters of Jen’s huge luxury Bel Air mansion.

As their relationship crumbled, he even took to sleeping in there.

A source told USWeekly: ‘When Justin was in Los Angeles and staying with Jen, he would typically spend most of his time in the guest house of the mansion.

‘He would play music, hang out and, in the final months of their marriage, would end up sleeping in the guest house.’

It has been claimed that a disagreement about where to live was the main cause of their split, with Jennifer preferring Los Angeles, while Justin opting for New York.

The two also kept their properties separate when they married.

According to property records obtained by The Blast, Jennifer, 49, and 46-year-old Justin kept the deeds to their residences in their own names and as their ‘sole and separate property.’

In the eyes of the law, property acquired as a couple becomes community property but as the Cake actress already owned her 1965 Bel Air mansion – where she and Justin tied the knot – and her two-bedroom Hollywood Hills property, and the Leftovers star had his New York apartment in Greenwich village before they wed, and the deeds were never altered, it won’t be an issue.

When it comes to finances, both stars had made most of their money before they got together, with Jennifer’s hefty pay day from Friends and Justin’s work on Tropic Thunder secured and not up for grabs during any potential settlement deals.

But division of assets may not even be an issue – after it emerged there was ‘no evidence’ the two ever officially married.

The former couple revealed last week that they decided to go their separate ways at the end of 2017, two and a half years after they tied the knot at Jen’s Bel Air home.

But it has since emerged that there is no evidence a legal ceremony ever took place.

TMZ checked records in Los Angeles county as far back as 2010 and found no record of their marriage licence. The pair did not opt for a confidential marriage licence.

While it is possible that Jennifer, 49 and Justin, 46, filed their paperwork in a different county in Los Angeles, sources close to the pair insist this is not the case.

The pair announced their ‘separation’ earlier this week, in a joint statement.

They said: ‘In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.’

Those Are Simon Cowell’s Big Plans for His Son Eric

Simon Cowell hopes his young son Eric will be in a boyband when he’s older.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ boss was speaking to a group of young lads aged nine to 11 who auditioned for the ITV talent show when he made the comments about his four-year-old boy’s future.

Speaking to the group, Simon – who has Eric with partner Lauren Silverman – told them: “I just know my son Eric and his four mates are going to be doing that in a few years.”

Whilst a member of the audience told The Sun newspaper: “Simon seemed to quite like the thought he might be up on stage one day.”

It comes after the 58-year-old music mogul said he’d like to see his son follow in his footsteps, and take over from him on the various talent shows he runs.

He said previously: “He’ll probably end up doing what I am doing.

“He has to take over for me. I’ve put him in training. He’s down at the shows, he has the earplugs in. I would absolutely love it if he could do what I do.”

However, the ‘X Factor’ judge says he won’t mind if Eric decides he wants to go down a more academic route, though he admits it would be nice for him to leave behind a “legacy”.

He added: “If he gravitates towards academics, then fine – I would encourage him but I have a feeling he’s gonna be more like me.

“I’m not gonna lie, I’d love him to one day say, ‘Can I work for you and learn how to do it.’

“That would make me feel incredible — and then you have a legacy.”
